ORDER: To aid our review of that order, we DIRECT the parties to submit letter briefs addressing whether the district court abused its discretion by denying Lasters construed motion for Rule 4(a)(6) relief. Specifically, the parties should address whether the district court abused its discretion by finding that: (1) Laster had not demonstrated that he did not receive timely notice of the September 2024 order and judgment, and (2) alternatively, Laster was not entitled to Rule 4(a)(6) relief as a matter of its discretion. Laster shall file his initial letter brief, containing up to 20 pages, within 30 days of the date of this order. The appellee shall file any response letter brief, which may also contain up to 20 pages, within 21 days after Laster files his initial letter brief. Laster may then file a reply letter brief, which may contain up to 10 pages, within 14 days after the appellee files any response letter brief.
