Filing 16
ORDER (RESTREPO, PORTER and MONTGOMERY-REEVES, Circuit Judges) Appellants requests for a certificate of appealability are denied. Jurists of reason would not debate whether the District Court abused its discretion in declining to grant relief on Appellants Rule 60(b) motion. See 28 U.S.C. 2253(c)(2); Bracey v. Superintendent Rockview SCI, 986 F.3d 274, 28283 (3d Cir. 2021). Appellants Rule 60(b) motion attacked the validity of his conviction, and the District Court lacked jurisdiction to consider it. See Gonzalez v. Crosby, 545 U.S. 524, 53032 (2005); Pridgen v. Shannon, 380 F.3d 721, 727 (3d Cir. 2004). To the extent that a certificate of appealability is required to appeal the District Courts denial of Appellants request for production of evidence and motion for production of documents, we decline to issue a certificate of appealability because jurists of reason would agree that the District Court properly denied the request and the motion. See Slack v. McDaniel, 529 U.S. 473, 484 (2000). To the extent that a certificate of appealability is not required, we summarily affirm the District Courts denial of the request and the motion. See 3d Cir. LAR 27.4; 3d Cir. I.O.P. 10.6. Insofar as Appellant seeks other relief in this appeal, it is denied.Panel No.: DLD-050. Montgomery-Reeves, Authoring Judge.
