ORDER (SHWARTZ, FREEMAN and CHUNG, Circuit Judges) This appeal is dismissed for lack of appellate jurisdiction. Absent exceptions that do not apply here, our appellate jurisdiction is limited to reviewing "final decisions of the district courts." 28 U.S.C. Section 1291. Appellant seeks to appeal from an order that denied his motions for default judgment. That order is no a "final" order, as it did not end the litigation on the merits and leave nothing for the District Court to do but execute the judgment, Further, the order is not appealable under the collateral order doctrine of Cohen v. Beneficial Industrial Loan Corp., 337 U.S. 541 (1949), because the order will be reviewable on appeal from a final judgment. See Adult Film Ass'n of Am., 776 F.2d at 115 (concluding that denial of a motion for default judgment does not satisfy requirement that decision be effectively unreviewable after final judgment). Nothing in this order prevents Appellant from filing a new notice of appeal once the District Court enters a final decision. Panel No.: ALD-087. Freeman, Authoring Judge.
