Upon review, the plaintiffs motion to amend the caption is GRANTED, and the clerk will remove the suffix Sr. However, the plaintiff is advised that Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act does not apply to the federal judiciary. Torrence v. U.S. Bankr. Ct. for the N.D. Ill., No. 17-C-3120, 2017 WL 3593116, at *4 (N.D. Ill. Aug. 21, 2017) (Similarly, the Rehabilitation Act does not apply to the federal courts: it only covers Executive agencies, the United States Postal Service, and certain categories of programs and activities receiving Federal funding.). Although the court provides services to individuals with communications disabilities, these accommodations are generally limited to courtroom proceedings.
