In this case, one of the orders that defendant Christopher McCoy wants reviewed was entered on December 21, 2018. But the notice of appeal was filed on February 25, 2019, over seven weeks late. The district court has not granted an extension of the appeal period, see Rule 4(b), and this court is not empowered to do so, see Fed. R. App. P. 26(b). Accordingly, appellant, on or before March 13, 2019, shall file a brief memorandum stating why this appeal should not LIMITED to a review of the order entered on February 11, 2019, striking various papers that appellant filed with the district court.
