Filing 9 ORDER: In the present case, plaintiff relies on diversity of citizenship for federal jurisdiction. However, appellants Circuit Rule 3(c) docketing statement fails to provide sufficient information as to the business structure of Foxconn Interconnect Technology Ltd., Foxconn (Kunshan) Computer Connector Co. Ltd., Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. ltd. and Hon Yeh Precision Component (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. as business entities created under the laws of China or the Cayman Islands. Further, appellant must identify the principal place of business of defendants Foxconn Interconnect Technology USA, Inc., FIT Electronics Inc., Foxconn Electronics Inc., and TE Connectivity Corporation. It is insufficient to state that each defendant is headquartered in either California or Pennsylvania. See Dalton v. Teva North America, 891 F.3d 687, 690 (7th Cir. 2018); 28 U.S.C. 1332(c)(1). Also, appellant is advised that citizenship information based on information and belief is unacceptable. See Medical Assurance Co. v. Hellman, 610 F.3d 371, 376 (7th Cir. 2010). Accordingly, appellant shall file a complete statement of jurisdiction that includes the omitted information. The statement is due on or before August 14, 2019. (See order for further details.)
