ORDER: A review of the Amended Docketing Statement that appellants filed on June 23 2020, reveals that it remains inadequate. In the present case, plaintiffs rely on diversity of citizenship for federal jurisdiction. However, appellants Circuit Rule 3(c) docketing statement fails to identify all members of plaintiff UFT Commercial Finance, LLC, and each members state of citizenship. Appellant must provide this information. Further, it is insufficient, for purposes of diversity jurisdiction, to disclose the residency of plaintiff Joanne M. Noren and defendant Richard A. Fisher; citizenship matters, not residency. Last, appellants must provide the correct date that the judgment was entered. It was not May 12, 2020. Appellants had the correct date in their original docketing statement. Accordingly, appellants shall file a complete statement of jurisdiction that includes the omitted information. ORDER: Circuit Rule 3(c)(1), referencing Circuit Rule 28(a), requires an appellant to file a docketing statement which provides information concerning the district courts jurisdiction. If jurisdiction depends on diversity, the statement must identify the jurisdictional amount and the citizenship of each party to the litigation. If any party is a corporation, the rule specifically requires the appellant to identify both the state of incorporation and the state in which the corporation has its principal place of business. And if any party is an unincorporated association or partnership, the statement must identify the citizenship of all members.
