ORDER: A preliminary review of the short record indicates that these appeals are unnecessary in light of later appeals filed on August 2, 2022 and August 5, 2022, docketed in this court as Appeal Nos. 22-2370 and 22-2413. See Fed. R. App. P. 3(c)(5)(A). Only one appeal is necessary, the other should be dismissed. Harris v. Bellin Memorial Hospital, 13 F.3d 1082, 1083 (7th Cir. 1994). Both plaintiffs and defendants also should advise the court whether they intend to ask the district court to enter an amended judgment that fully sets out the relief awarded in this case. See Fed. R. App. P. 58(d); see also Practitioners Handbook (2020 ed.) at p. 81 (If a post-judgment motion is granted, in whole or in part, the amended judgment must be set forth in a separate document). Accordingly, both sets of parties shall file, on or before August 25, 2022, a brief memorandum stating why these appeals should not be dismissed as unnecessary.
