ORDER: Circuit Rule 3(c)(1), referencing Circuit Rule 28(a), requires an appellant to file a docketing statement which provides information concerning appellate jurisdiction. First of all, the form that counsel used is incorrect. This is the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, not the Federal Circuit. Second, counsel must identify the federal statute involved in the case that provides the district court with jurisdiction. Counsel should do so by a citation. See Cir. Rule 28(a)(1). Third, appellants' Circuit Rule 3(c) docketing statements fail to set forth the date on which they filed their notice of appeal. This information, too, must be provided.
