ORDER re: Motion to Defer Filing of Appendix, which the court construes as a motion for an extension of time to file a compliant opening brief of the appellant. [ # 12 ] Construed as such, the motion is GRANTED to the extent that the appellant shall file her opening brief and required short appendix by March 11, 2024. Otherwise, these items must be submitted in a separate appendix. Before resubmitting a corrected brief, the appellant should review Circuit Rules 30(a) and 30(b) in order to ensure that the short appendix is compliant. For more information, the appellant may contact the clerk's office. Further, the appellant is reminded that the district court no longer transmits the record on appeal to this court. Because the record is electronic, it is available for this court's use without the need for transmission of a physical record.
