ORDER: 1. Motion for leave to file under seal, filed on 10/8/2025. 2. Appellee and Cross-appellant's appendix, filed on 10/8/2025. The motion is DENIED without prejudice. Hossfield may file a new motion by October 31. The brief and redacted appendix submitted on October 8 and 9, 2025, will not be filed. In his new motion, Hossfield should correct any clerical errors, identify the specific portions of the appendix he seeks to seal, and cite relevant case law or statutes supporting his assertion that those portions or documents should be sealed. See Baxter Int'l, Inc. v. Abbott Lab'ys, 297 F.3d 544, 548 (7th Cir. 2002). Hossfield should also confer with Allstate to determine what documents or portions of the record it seeks to keep confidential and its basis for doing so. Finally, Hossfield should submit an updated redacted appendix that redacts only those targeted portions of documents that the parties assert are confidential. Hossfield is reminded that this court already has access to any document filed in the district court.
