Filing 3
ORDER: On October 22, 2025, appellant Jonathan Mpiana filed a notice of appeal from the district court's judgment, and appeal no. 25-2902 was opened. On November 7, 2025, the district court denied Mpiana leave to appeal in forma pauperis and informed him that he could renew his motion in this court within thirty days. Rather than filing a motion to proceed in forma pauperis in this court as directed, Mpiana filed another notice of appeal in the district court seeking review of the November 7 order; a second appeal, no. 25-3136, was opened. A separate appeal challenging the order denying pauper status was not necessary. Accordingly, appeal no. 25-3136 is administratively CLOSED. No appellate filing fees for appeal no. 25-3136 shall be imposed. Mpiana is reminded that he must pay the appellate filing fees to the clerk of the district court or file a motion for leave to proceed on appeal in forma pauperis, PLRA memorandum in support, and trust fund account statement with the clerk of this court in appeal no. 25-2902 by December 8, 2025.
