ORDER: A preliminary review of the short record suggests that the district court has not entered a final judgment under Rule 58 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure with respect to all claims and all parties, and in particular with respect to the two defendants-appellants. The court has entered only a consent judgment with respect to two other defendants and a default judgment with respect to the many remaining defendants, excluding the two appellants. A judgment should be a single complete and self-contained document. See, e.g., Grunt Style LLC v. TWD, LLC , 140 F.4th 839, 844 (7th Cir. 2025); Reytbatt v. Denton , 812 F.2d 1042, 1043 (7th Cir. 1987). Accordingly, both appellants and appellee shall file, on or before December 12, 2025, a statement advising the court whether they will request in the district court that a final judgment be set out in a separate document. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 58(d). JXK [10] [7491185] [25-3148] (PS) [Entered: 12/05/2025 03:18 PM]
