ORDER re: Response to order to show cause and motion to voluntarily dismiss this case. On March 25, 2026, this court dismissed this appeal for lack of jurisdiction and ordered appellant Ronald Satish Emrit to show cause why he should not be sanctioned for continuing to file frivolous appeals. Emrit has responded but does not profess he is willing and able to stop his frivolous litigation. Accordingly, unless and until Emrit pays all outstanding filing fees and any sanctions that have been imposed on him, the clerks of all federal courts in this circuit are directed to return unfiled any papers submitted either directly or indirectly by him or on his behalf. See In re City of Chicago, 500 F.3d 582, 585-86 (7th Cir. 2007); Support Sys. Intl, Inc. v. Mack, 45 F.3d 185, 186 (7th Cir. 1995). In accordance with our decision in Mack, exceptions to this filing bar are made for criminal cases and for applications for writs of habeas corpus. See Mack, 45 F.3d at 186-87. This order will be lifted immediately once Emrit makes full payment. See City of Chicago, 500 F.3d at 585-86. If Emrit, despite his best efforts, is unable to pay in full all outstanding sanctions and filing fees, no earlier than two years from the date of this order he is authorized to submit to this court a motion to modify or rescind this order. See id.; Mack, 45 F.3d at 186. JXK. [10] [7516684] [25-3229] (HTP) [Entered: 04/09/2026 12:19 PM]

ORDER: On December 11, 2025, this court ordered appellant to file a memorandum by December 29, 2025, explaining why this appeal should not be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. Appellant did not respond, so the court ordered appellant to show cause for his failure to respond by January 21, 2026. Again, appellant did not respond. Accordingly, on review of the short record, this appeal is DISMISSED for lack of jurisdiction. We previously warned appellant Ronald Emrit, in a materially similar appeal, that his frivolous litigation could lead to the imposition of sanctions. No. 25-1838 (July 2, 2025). Accordingly, Ronald Emrit shall show cause on or before April 8, 2026, why he should not be subject to sanctions, including a fine and filing bar under Support Sys. Int'l, Inc. v. Mack , 45 F.3d 185 (7th Cir. 1995), for continuing his frivolous litigation after this courts warnings. (See order for further details) [8] [7513089] [25-3229] (PS) [Entered: 03/25/2026 10:31 AM]
