ORDER re: Letter requesting clarification. This appeal is subject to the Prison Litigation Reform Act and therefore all proceedings are suspended pending the assessment and payment of any necessary fees. See Newlin v. Helman, 123 F.3d 429, 434 (7th Cir. 1997). On February 25, 2026, the district court granted the appellants motion for leave to proceed on appeal in forma pauperis and assessed a $27.55 initial partial filing fee. Because the appellant has not yet paid the initial partial filing fee, this court has not set a briefing schedule. Accordingly, the appellant shall pay the initial partial filing fee in the district court by April 17, 2026. Failure to do so may result in the dismissal of this appeal.
