In this case judgment was entered on July 29, 2026, and the notice of appeal was filed on September 3, 2026, six days late. A review of the district courts docket suggests the appellant filed a motion for an extension of time to file a notice of appeal on September 3, 2026, see Fed. R. App. P. 4(a)(5), but the district court has not yet ruled on that motion. Accordingly, proceedings in this appeal are SUSPENDED pending the district court's resolution of the motion for extension of time. Further, an appellee shall file a status report within seven days of a ruling on the motion for extension of time, or on or shortly before October 5, 2026, if no order has yet issued.
