Filing 19 Filed order MEDIATION (SJS): A video mediation will be held on April 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, with Circuit Mediator, Steven Saltiel. Unless excused by the Circuit Mediator prior to the scheduled conference, each party shall be represented by counsel of record and a client representative having full authority to negotiate and settle the case on any terms at the conference. No later than seven (7) days before the mediation, counsel is requested to inform the mediator by email of the names and email address of planned participants. Each participant will receive an email with video instructions only they can use to participate in the conference. Please notify the Circuit Mediator if counsel does not receive an email or if additional participants should be added. Mediation statements in advance of the mediation are not required. The parties will be expected to sign the confidentiality agreement attached as Exhibit A to this order. Participants should plan to spend the entire day engaged in meaningful settlement discussions and come prepared with thoughtful solutions to this dispute. Accordingly, Ninth Circuit Rule 3-3 shall apply. The mediation questionnaires are due three days after the date of this order. If they have not already done so, within 7 calendar days after the filing date of this order, the parties shall make arrangements to obtain from the court reporter an official transcript of proceedings in the district court that will be included in the record on appeal.
