FRIEDLAND, Jennifer SUNG Petitioner seeks review of an order of the Board of Immigration Appeals upholding an immigration judges denial of cancellation of removal and special rule cancellation of removal under the Violence Against Women Act. The agency correctly applied the modified categorical approach to conclude that petitioners conviction under California Vehicle Code 20001(a) is a crime involving moral turpitude (CIMT). See Conejo-Bravo v. Sessions, 875 F.3d 890, 893-94 (9th Cir. 2017) (conviction under California Vehicle Code 20001(a) for felony hit and run qualified as a CIMT). Therefore, the agency correctly found petitioner ineligible for cancellation of removal and special rule cancellation of removal. See 8 U.S.C. 1229b(b)(1)(C), (b)(2)(A)(iv), 1182(a)(2)(A)(i)(I). The motion for summary disposition (Docket Entry No. 8) is granted because the questions on review are too insubstantial to warrant full briefing. See 9th Cir.
