Filing 10
ORDER FILED. (Bridget S. BADE, Kenneth K. LEE, Lawrence VANDYKE) Petitioners seek review of an order of the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) summarily dismissing their appeal. The BIA did not abuse its discretion in summarily dismissing petitioners appeal where their notice of appeal failed to identify specific reasons for challenging the immigration judges decision, and where petitioners indicated on their notice of appeal that a separate written brief would be filed, but they failed to do so. See 8 C.F.R. 1003.1(d)(2)(i)(A), (E); see also Singh v. Ashcroft, 361 F.3d 1152, 1157 (9th Cir. 2004) (summary dismissal appropriate where notice of appeal lacked sufficient specificity and no separate written brief was filed). The motion for summary disposition (Docket Entry No. 9) is granted because the questions on review are too insubstantial to warrant full briefing. See 9th Cir. R. 3-6(a) (standard for summary disposition); see also United States v. Hooton, 693 F.2d 857, 858 (9th Cir. 1982). PETITION FOR REVIEW DENIED. [Entered: 09/28/2023 09:38 AM]
