On December 12, 2024, the district court denied appellants motion to proceed in forma pauperis because it did not contain a certified copy of an inmate trust account, as required by 28 U.S.C. 1915(a)(2) for prisoners seeking to bring civil actions. On March 26, 2025, the district court dismissed this action for failure to pay the filing fee. Appellants motion to proceed in forma pauperis on appeal is pending in the district court (District Court Docket Entry No. 17). See Fed. R. App. P. 24(a)(1). Appellant has provided an address and identification number for service through the New York State Address Confidentiality program. Within 21 days, appellant must file a statement in this court stating whether appellant is a prisoner incarcerated or detained in any facility and, if applicable, provide a prisoner identification number. Briefing is stayed until the district court, and if necessary this court, enters a decision on the motion to proceed on appeal in forma pauperis.
