ORDER FILED. Gloria Brinkley was incorrectly listed as a plaintiff with no appellate court status on this courts docket and the courts June 23, 2025 scheduling order. Brinkley was a defendant in the district court action, and the June 20, 2025 notice of appeal includes Brinkley as an appellee. The clerk will correct this courts docket to reflect that Gloria Brinkley is a defendant-appellee in this appeal, and enter the appearance of Brinkley pro se. The Washington Department of Social and Health Services was incorrectly listed on this courts docket as a defendant-appellee. The Washington Department of Social and Health Services was a respondent on the district court docket but it is not named in the complaint at District Court Docket No. 1. The clerk will update this courts docket to remove the Washington Department of Social and Health Services as a party in this case. The opening brief was filed on July 14, 2025. The answering brief of appellees Chelsea Beasly and James Jonson was filed on September 3, 2025. Because Brinkley was not listed as an appellee on this courts docket, the June 23, 2025 scheduling order did not set an answering brief deadline for Brinkley and she has not been receiving notice of court orders or filings. The pro se answering brief of Gloria Brinkley is due October 6, 2025. The optional reply brief is due within 21 days after service of Brinkleys answering brief, or by October 27, 2025 if Brinkley does not file an answering brief. Appellee Brinkley is not currently registered for electronic filing in this court. A pro se party does not need permission to register for electronic filing in this court. Registration information can be found at https://www.ca9.uscourts.gov/efiling/. The clerk will serve this order, a copy of the public docket sheet, and copies of the opening brief (Docket Entry No. 7) and Beasley and Jonsons answering brief (Docket Entry No. 10) on appellee Brinkley.
