ORDER FILED. Mary M. SCHROEDER, Daniel P. COLLINS The request for status filed concurrently with the notice of appeal states that appellant had not received any documents from the district court since October 24, 2025. Appellants response to this courts May 12, 2026 order to show cause states that appellant received notice of the district courts entry of judgment in March 2026. Appellants notice of appeal was filed in the district court on March 13, 2026. The motion (Docket Entry No. 4) for a limited remand is granted. We treat the pro se notice of appeal and request for status as a motion to reopen the time to appeal under Federal Rule of Appellate Procedure 4(a)(6) and remand to allow the district court to rule on the motion. See United States v. Withers, 638 F.3d 1055, 1061 (9th Cir. 2011). If the district court grants the motion to reopen, appellant does not need to file a new notice of appeal. The clerk will send a copy of this order and Docket Entry No. 4 to the district judge. [Entered: 07/17/2026 11:28 AM]
