ORDER FILED. FRIEDLAND, R. NELSON, and BADE, Circuit Judges. The motion to seal (Docket Entry No. 4) is granted. The clerk will file publicly the motion to seal (Docket Entry No. 4.1) and the notice of sealing (Docket Entry No. 8.1), and will maintain under seal the documents at Docket Entry Nos. 3.6, 4.2, 7.10, and 8.2. In this appeal from the district courts pretrial detention order, we have jurisdiction under 18 U.S.C. 3145(c) and 28 U.S.C. 1291. We review for clear error the district courts factual findings concerning risk of flight. United States v. Townsend, 897 F.2d 989, 994 (9th Cir. 1990). [W]hether the district courts factual determinations justify the pretrial detention order is reviewed de novo. United States v. Hir, 517 F.3d 1081, 1086-87 (9th Cir. 2008). The district court did not clearly err in finding that a detention hearing was authorized, and the preponderance of the evidence showed that appellant poses a risk of flight and that no condition or combination of conditions will reasonably assure the [defendants] appearance, 18 U.S.C. 3142(e), (f)(2)(A); United States v. Motamedi, 767 F.2d 1403, 1407 (9th Cir. 1985). These findings justify the district courts pretrial detention order and we affirm. AFFIRMED. [Entered: 05/27/2026 04:26 PM]
