HURWITZ, Lawrence VANDYKE, Jennifer SUNG Real parties in interest must file an answer to this petition for a writ of mandamus and a response to petitioners request for a stay by September 8, 2026. See Fed. R. App. P. 21(b). Among other issues, real parties in interest must address the extent of this courts authority to grant mandamus relief after transfer to a court in another circuit has taken place. See NBS Imaging Systems, Inc. v. U.S. Dist. Court, 841 F.2d 297, 298 (9th Cir. 1988). The district court may also address the petition if it so desires. If the district court elects to address the petition, it may file an answer with this court or issue a supplemental order and serve a copy on this court.
