ORDER: The Court finds that the Notice of Removal is facially-deficient in establishing the existence of federal subject-matter jurisdiction premised upon diversity of citizenship. The Notice of Removal indicates only that Defendant BECO Inc. is "a Corporation organized under the laws of the State of North Dakota"; it does not indicate the location of its principal place of business. 28 USC 1332(c)(1). Neither the Complaint, which identifies only BECO's "last known address," nor BECO's Corporate Disclosure Statement #2 , identify BECO's principal place of business. Accordingly, the Defendants have failed to demonstrate the existence of subject-matter jurisdiction. Within 7 days of this Order, the Defendants shall file an Amended Notice of Removal that cures this defect or otherwise show cause why this action should not be remanded due to lack of subject-matter jurisdiction.
