I would like to disclose to the parties that prior to my appointment as United States Magistrate Judge, while in private practice, I previously performed legal work as counsel on behalf of Allstate-affiliated entities (see, for example, the federal court cases of Soni v. Allstate Vehicle and Property Insurance Company, 17-cv-02822-KLM (D. Colo.), and Trapp v. Allstate Insurance Company, d/b/a Encompass Indemnity Company, 18-cv-0016-RM-KMT, and the state court matter of Trapp v. Allstate Insurance Company d/b/a Encompass Indemnity Company, Case No. 2017-cv-30182 (District Court, Adams County, Colo.)). In light of this disclosure, it is hereby ORDERED that if any party feels that there exist grounds for recusal, after consultation with counsel, such party should file a motion under 28 U.S.C. 455 no later than July 22, 2020.
