January 22, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 19 ORDER. Instead of filing a Scheduling Order which by definition proposes a schedule for conducting discovery the parties have filed an incomplete order which essentially gives them an unauthorized stay of discovery until after the court has ruled on a pending motion to dismiss. This is inappropriate. If the parties desire a stay they must file an appropriate motion addressing each of the criteria outlined in String Cheese Incident, LLC. v. Stylus Shows, Inc., 02CV01934LTBPAC, 2006 WL 894955, at *2 (D. Colo. Mar. 30, 2006) and receive permission to stay discovery from the court. Therefore, the proposed scheduling Order [Doc. No. 18] is hereby STRICKEN.
