February 7, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 7 ORDER denying #2 Motion for Leave to Proceed in Forma Pauperis: Although the Court appreciates counsel's candor and the unusual circumstances faced by both counsel and the Plaintiff in this case, a request to proceed in forma pauperis requires a complete, accurate, and signed financial affidavit from the Plaintiff. Mr. Dhorman's current affidavit is both unsigned and, according to his counsel, inaccurate in certain respects. Accordingly, the motion to proceed in forma pauperis is denied without prejudice. In recognition of the unusual circumstances of this case, the Court will grant Mr. Dhorman 21 days from the date of this Order to file an amended financial affidavit. Failure to file an adequate affidavit by that date (or, in the alternative, to pay the filing fee) will result in this appeal being dismissed without prejudice. By Judge Marcia S. Krieger on 2/7/22.
