Filing 10 MINUTE ORDER. Plaintiff's Forthwith Motion for a Hearing and Motion for Extension of Time (ECF No. #9 ) is granted in part and denied in part. First, Plaintiff will be granted a 30-day extension to file an amended prisoner complaint. As such, Plaintiff shall file an amended prisoner complaint, in accordance with the Court's March 24 order, on or before May 23, 2022. Plaintiff is cautioned that further requests for an extension of time must be supported by an affidavit signed under penalty of perjury, see 18 U.S.C. 1621, or supported by other competent evidence, explaining the details that establish good cause. (Id. at 1-2). The requests will be denied in part and granted in part as follows. The request to apply the filing fee paid in a previous case to this new action is denied. See 28 U.S.C. 1914(a). As to the request for copies, the Court is not required to provide litigants with copies of documents filed in a case. Nonetheless, the Court will grant Plaintiff's request this one time.
