May 16, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 24 ORDER re #22 Response to Request for Extension of Time and Motion for Entry of Preliminary Injunction. In his #22 Response to Respondent's #21 Motion for Extension of Time or Continuance, Petitioner purports to "move[] this Court for the entry of a preliminary injunction directed to Respondent," specifically "[t]hat Respondent be enjoined from removing the minor child from this jurisdiction pending resolution on the merits in this matter;" and "[t]hat Respondent be required to immediately deposit into the custody of the Clerk of Court, her passport and the passport of [the minor child]." ECF No. 22, para. 11. However, under the District of Colorado's Local Rules of Practice, "[a] motion shall not be included in a response or reply to the original motion. A motion shall be filed as a separate document." D.C.COLO.LCivR 7.1(d); see also RMR Practice Standard IV.B.1. ("All requests for the Court to take any action, make any type of ruling, or provide any type of relief must be contained in separate, written motions.").
