MINUTE ORDER: This matter is before the court on the #29 "Motion to Reactive Secretary of Defense as Defendant, Incorporate DOD's De Facto Notice of Right to Sue Letter, Issue a Response to DOD's De Facto Notice of Right to Sue Letter, and Request a Court-Appointed Attorney." The Motion is hereby STRICKEN for failure to comply with the Local Rule 7.1(a), which provides that "[b]efore filing a motion,... an unrepresented party shall confer or make reasonable, good faith efforts to confer with any opposing counsel or unrepresented party to resolve any disputed matter. The moving party shall describe in the motion, or in a certificate attached to the motion, the specific efforts to fulfill this duty." See D.C.COLO.LCivR 7.1(a). Although Plaintiff proceeds pro se, he is nevertheless required to comply with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Local Rules of Practice for this District. Murray v.
