MINUTE ORDER, by Magistrate Judge Susan Prose on 12/15/2023. Plaintiff's "motion" for extension of time (ECF No. #5 ) is DENIED without prejudice because the motion does not comply with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Pursuant to Rule 7(b)(1), "[a] request for a court order must be made by motion." Furthermore, "[t]he rules governing captions and other matters of form in pleadings apply to motions and other papers." Fed. R. Civ. P. 7(b) (2). If Plaintiff intends to file a motion in multiple cases, he must file a separate motion in each case. Additionally, the "motion" is not signed. Pursuant to Rule 11(a) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, "[e]very pleading, written motion, and other paper must be signed" and "[t]he court must strike an unsigned paper unless the omission is promptly corrected after being called to the... party's attention."
