MINUTE ORDER: Before the Court is the defendant's Notice of Extension of Time to Respond to Plaintiffs' Putative Class Action Complaint. ECF No. #10 . The defendant, pursuant to D.C.COLO.LCivR 6.1(a), seeks an additional twenty-eight days to file its response to the Complaint. D.C.COLO.LCivR 6.1(a), however, only allows for parties to stipulate to an extension of no more than twenty-one days, and "[a]ny other request for an extension of time or continuance must be approved by court order on motion." As the defendant seeks an extension of time beyond what the rule allows, the defendant was required to file a motion. See id.; see also D.C.COLO.LCivR 7.1(c). However, in the interest of judicial efficiency, the Court construes the defendant's filing as a motion. For good cause shown, the Motion, ECF No. #10 , is GRANTED.
