This matter is before the Court on two motions (ECF Nos. #12 & #13 ) filed by Plaintiff on March 27, 2026, asking the Court to reconsider and reopen this action that he believes was dismissed by the Court's Order for Summary Remand (ECF No. #9 ). Plaintiff initiated this action in state court and, on March 12, 2026, Defendants Grand Junction Police Department and Officer Nate Long removed the case to federal court. On March 16, 2026, the Court remanded the case to state court. Therefore, because the Court remanded the case to state court and did not dismiss the case, Plaintiffs motions to reconsider and reopen (ECF Nos. #12 & #13 ) are DENIED as moot.
