Filing 6
MINUTE ORDER by Magistrate Judge Richard T. Gurley on 6/2/2026. In response to the Court's Order Directing Plaintiff to Cure Deficiencies (ECF No. 3), Plaintiff has submitted a handwritten pleading and a Motion for Pro Bono Counsel. (ECF Nos. 4, 5). But these filings do not cure the deficiencies as ordered. To proceed with this action, Plaintiff must first cure the deficiencies as ordered by the Court. Plaintiff shall have until July 2, 2026, to cure the outstanding deficiencies. Specifically, Plaintiff must submit a fully completed (1) Prisoner Complaint, and (2) Prisoner's Motion and Affidavit for Leave to Proceed Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915 as ordered. The Clerk's Office is directed to mail to Plaintiff, together with a copy of this Minute Order, a copy of the following forms: (1) Prisoner Complaint, and (2) Prisoner's Motion and Affidavit for Leave to Proceed Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915 (and the applicable instructions). To the extent Plaintiff requests the appointment of counsel (ECF No. #5 ), the request is DENIED WITHOUT PREJUDICE as premature because this case is under initial review. If the case is later drawn to a presiding judge under D.C.COLO.LCivR 8.1(c), Plaintiff may renew the request. Plaintiff is reminded that this action will be dismissed without further notice if the deficiencies are not cured within the time allowed. For all non-e-filer pro se parties, a copy of this document has been sent via U.S. Mail to the mailing address of record. Text Only Entry. (bgrum, )
