ORDER. The #13 and #14 Motions for Admission of Counsel Pro Hac Vice and For Other Relief are DENIED without prejudice. The #13 and #14 motions seek an exception from the local office requirement of Local Rule 83.1(c)(1), which would require a showing of good cause. While it may be true--as the movants argue--that the plaintiff will not be prejudiced by waiving this requirement, the local office rule also "facilitates the business of the Court." D. Conn. L. Civ. R. 83.1(c)(1). Counsel may renew their motions if they intend to comply with the local office requirement or if they make an adequate showing of good cause.The #15 , #16 , and #17 Motions for Admission of Counsel Pro Hac Vice are DENIED without prejudice. The #15 , #16 , and #17 motions do not comply with Local Rule 83.1(d). The motions do not state whether counsel has "resigned from, surrendered his or her license to practice before, or withdrawn an application for admission to practice before this Court or any other court, while facing a disciplinary complaint." D. Conn. L. Civ. R. 83.1(d)(1)(c)(ii). If counsel cannot so state, then counsel should follow the relevant provisions in D. Conn. L. Civ. R. 83.1(d)(1)(c)(ii). The motions also do not state whether counsel has reviewed and is familiar with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and more importantly, the Connecticut Rules of Professional Conduct. D. Conn. L.
