Filing 47 ORDER. For the foregoing reasons, the defendants' motion for summary judgment (ECF No. 38) is GRANTED IN PART AND DENIED IN PART. The defendants' motion is granted with respect to the excessive force and assault and battery claims against Officer Serrano, the assault and battery claim against Officer Matsen, the conspiracy to violate civil rights claim, and all claims against the City of Norwalk. It is denied with respect to all of the plaintiff's other claims. The part ies' Joint Trial Memorandum, which must conform with the directions on the portion of the Court's website devoted to my Orders and Instructions, shall be filed by March 26, 2018. If the parties wish to mediate this case with a magistrate j udge, they shall file, within fourteen days, the joint statement described under Settlement on the portion of the Court's website describing my Pretrial Preferences. If the parties file such a statement within fourteen days, the Court will refe r the case to Magistrate Judge Martinez for a settlement conference and will extend the deadline for filing the Joint Trial Memorandum until forty-five days after the unsuccessful conclusion of the mediation.
