Filing 48 ORDER. For the reasons stated in the attached, the defendants 27 motion for summary judgment is GRANTED in part and DENIED in part. I DENY the plaintiffs 29 , 30 motions for partial summary judgment. I DENY the 39 , 40 Motions for Leave to Fi le Excess Pages as moot. I also DENY the 35 Motion to Amend/Correct as moot. I DENY the 37 Substituted Motionto Amend. Because no claims remain against the City of Bridgeport or Gaudette, the Clerks office is instructed to terminate them from this case.Jury selection in this case is scheduled for December 5, 2018 at 9:00 a.m., with evidence to start immediately thereafter. The Joint Trial Memorandum is due October 3, 2018. Should the parties wish to proc eed to mediation, they shall file a joint statement certifying that (1) counsel have conferred with their clients and each other, (2) the parties wish to proceed to mediation, (3) the parties are willing to participate in settlement efforts at such m ediation in good faith, and (4) counsel believe that a mediation stands at least a reasonable chance of resolving the case without trial.
