Filing 11 Absent consent to a Magistrate Judge, this case has been referred to Magistrate Judge Robert A. Richardson for all purposes including issuing a Recommended Ruling. Signed by Judge Stefan R. Underhill on 2/5/2021.(Anastasio, F.) |
Filing 10 ORDER granting, absent objection, #9 Defendant's Unopposed Motion for Extension of Time to File Certified Administrative Record. The Commissioner requests a 60-day extension, until April 9, 2021, to file the administrative transcript in this case. The Commissioner received the Complaint on December 14, 2020, and requested the preparation of the Administrative Transcript on January 8, 2021. See Doc. #9 at 4. "Defendant acknowledges that the request for preparation of the CAR was 28 days after the Complaint in this matter was filed, and that this is an uncharacteristically long delay that was caused both by the significant increase in Region VII's workload and the intervening holidays." Id. The Court reminds the Commissioner that failure to timely request the preparation of the transcript may indicate that the Commissioner did not act with diligence in meeting the deadline, as required by the Local Rules, see D. Conn. L. Civ. R. 7(b), and may result in denial of future requests. The Commissioner shall file the Administrative Transcript on or before April 9, 2021. The Court does not anticipate granting further extensions of this deadline. It is so ordered. Signed by Judge Sarah A. L. Merriam on 2/4/2021. (Weis, Anne) |
