| Filing 13 MEMORANDUM of Conference. After speaking this morning with representatives of the Department of Correction, Judge Farrish will hold a settlement conference at 9:00 a.m. on March 23, 2022 to explore whether the case can be resolved by settlement before the plaintiff's in forma pauperis motion is ruled upon. The settlement conference will take place over video, and a representative of the Department will be in attendance. Judge Farrish's courtroom deputy will work with the Department to ensure that the plaintiff is connected by video.The plaintiff is respectfully directed to study his case carefully - and, in particular, to consider any weaknesses as well as strengths - before coming onto the videoconference. He should be prepared to have a productive discussion concerning possible ways of resolving his case by settlement.
