Filing 10 ORDER granting, in part, #9 plaintiff's Motion to Substitute Party. Plaintiff has filed a motion relying on Rule 21, which relates to misjoinder of parties, seeking leave to file an Amended Complaint to change the named plaintiff from "MSP Recovery Claims, Series LLC" to "MSP Recovery Claims Series 44, LLC[.]" Doc. #9 at 1. Counsel asserts that "a scrivener's error[]" resulted in a "non-substantive naming issue[.]" Id. at 1-2. Rule 21, as plaintiff notes, addresses the adding or dropping of parties; but plaintiff asserts that the plaintiff is not changing; no actual party is being added or dropped. Rather, the same plaintiff will proceed with this matter, but with its name corrected. Plaintiff shall file an Amended Complaint, correctly naming the plaintiff in the caption and throughout the body of the pleading, on or before August 8, 2022.
