August 4, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 14 ORDER. Defendant BSH Home Appliances Corporation ("BSH") invokes diversity jurisdiction pursuant to 28 USC Section 1332 in its Notice of Removal, at ECF No. #1 . As basis for this jurisdiction, BSH indicates that Defendant Robert Bosch, LLC ("Bosch") exists pursuant to the laws of the State of Michigan and that its principal place of business is in Michigan. However, a limited liability company's citizenship for diversity purposes is determined by the citizenship of all of its members. See Carden v. Arkoma Associates, 494 U.S. 185, 195-96 (1990); Raymond Loubier Irrevocable Trust v. Loubier, 858 F.3d 719, 729 (2d Cir. 2017). Accordingly, the Notice of Removal does not adequately set forth the basis for this Court's subject matter jurisdiction. And although Bosch consented to the removal of this action, it did not supply the information necessary to confirm diversity jurisdiction. Accordingly, on or before August 25, 2022, Bosch shall file a Notice apprising the Court of its citizenship as is determined for purposes of diversity jurisdiction. Failure to do so may result in remand of this action without further notice from the Court. Signed by Judge Kari A. Dooley on 8/4/2022. (Banker, Joshua)
