Set Deadline: Rule 26 Meeting Report due by 4/7/2023. (Bozek, M.) |
Filing 12 ORDER granting #11 Motion for Extension of Time. The parties shall file their Rule 26(f) report on or before April 7, 2023. The parties are reminded however, that Local Rule of Civil Procedure 7(b)3, requires all motions for extension of time to be filed at least three business days prior to the deadline sought to be extended. If a motion is not filed by such deadline it must explain why it was not filed in compliance with this requirement. The instant motion was not filed three business days in advance of the deadline sought to be extended, nor does it explain why it was filed late. Additionally, the parties in this matter emailed the Court more than two weeks ago inquiring how to extend the deadline for the 26(f) report. On February 24, they were informed that if they wished to do so, they should file a motion requesting such relief. That the parties still waited until the day the report was due, despite knowing they needed an extension more than two weeks ago, is of concern to the Court. The parties are advised that any future motions that do not comply with all the requirements of Local Rule 7(b)3 will be denied. Signed by Judge Sarala V. Nagala on 3/9/23. (Marks, Joshua) |
