ORDER RE DEFENDANT SIDOR'S FAILURE TO ANSWER OR TIMELY RESPOND TO COMPLAINT. Despite consenting to removal of this action in a notice dated June 21, 2023, ECF No. #10 , Defendant Sidor has failed to answer or otherwise respond to Plaintiff's complaint within the time periods set forth in Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 81(c)(2). Accordingly, given Defendant Sidor's failure to timely file an answer or other response to the complaint, the Court directs Plaintiff to move for entry of a default against Defendant Sidor pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 55(a) on or before August 15, 2023. Failure to do so will result in the Court dismissing Plaintiff's claim(s) against Defendant Sidor for failure to prosecute. See D. Conn. L. Civ. R. 41(a). In the event that Defendant Sidor chooses in the interim to file an answer or other response to the complaint, Defendant Sidor shall also file a motion for extension of time nunc pro tunc stating why there is good cause for his failure to comply with the scheduling requirements of the Court and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
