September 25, 2023 Opinion or Order Filing 10 ORDER re: Motion to Proceed in forma pauperis. Plaintiff's motion does not contain enough information to allow this Court to conclude that she cannot pay the standard $402 civil case filing fee. According to her motion, she has $0 in obligations, but she has not answered most of the questions about her sources of income at page three of the in forma pauperis motion form. Plaintiff has left blank nearly all information pertaining to her employment, last employment, or any income. She has also left blank the sections on government benefits and other income. Plaintiff may be able to proceed in forma pauperis in this matter, but she must submit a motion that accurately reflects the status of both her income and expenditures.If Plaintiff intends to proceed with this action in U.S. District Court, she must either submit a renewed motion to proceed in forma pauperis or pay the $402 filing fee by October 10, 2023. The Court will hold the case in abeyance pending receipt of a renewed motion to proceed in forma pauperis or the filing fee. If neither a renewed motion nor the filing fee is received by October 10, 2023, the case will be dismissed. Plaintiff may choose to seek advice from the Federal Pro Se Program housed at New Haven Legal Assistance Association, which is reachable through http://nhlegal.org/federalprose.
