Date Filed Document Text
October 11, 2024 Filing 19 NOTICE of Appearance by Matthew B. Beizer on behalf of State of Connecticut, State of Connecticut Chief State's Attorney (Beizer, Matthew)
September 14, 2024 Opinion or Order Filing 18 ORDER granting ECF No. #12 , Motion to Participate in Electronic Filing. The plaintiff shall be permitted to participate in electronic filing, and shall be expected to comply with the District of Connecticut's Electronic Filing Policies and Procedures, available online at https://www.ctd.uscourts.gov/sites/default/files/Electronic-Filing-Policies-and-Procedures-3-22-24.pdf. It also appears that many of the documents Plaintiff has filed contain sensitive information about an individual who is not party to this case. Accordingly, the court respectfully instructs the Clerk of Court to please seal the exhibits to the Complaint filed at ECF No. #1 (pages 14 through 49 of the document). Pursuant to Local Rule 5(e), the court finds that there is clear and compelling reason to place these documents under seal because they contain private personal and financial information about a non-party. The court finds that sealing all exhibits attached to the docket entry is narrowly tailored to address this privacy interest because the quantity and frequency of private information is such that filing a redacted version of the record would be of little utility. Consequently, the public's interest in access to these documents is outweighed by privacy interests. It is so ordered. Signed by Judge Omar A. Williams on 09/14/2024. (Sullivan, M)
