Filing 22 ORAL ORDER: Even a cursory glance at the materials that are redacted (see D.I. #21 ) shows grossly excessive redaction. E.g., Verified Complaint at 8-10, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, etc. While the Court would be justified in simply unsealing all the materials, D.I. #7 n.1, the Court recognizes that amidst the overredactions, there are some nuggets that should be redacted. Thus, the motion (D.I. #20 ) is DENIED. The parties are instructed to pare the redactions on the order of at least 90%, and to submit declarations/affidavits in support of what remains redacted. The parties are to do so by the end of this week. Should the parties continue to overredact, there will be an order to show cause for lead outside counsel and a mandatory in person redaction review which lead counsel and the principals of the parties will be required to attend. Ordered by Judge Richard G. Andrews on 7/12/2021. (nms) |
