July 16, 2024 Opinion or Order Filing 14 ORDER DIRECTING SERVICE. The clerk shall prepare the service package for certified mailing to the special appointee at the FCCC designated below. The packet for each defendant shall include the Complaint #1, a summons, and this order. The clerk shall notate the docket with the date the service package was mailed. The court specially appoints Lavon Cardenas to serve the defendants.Within 14 days after receipt of the service package, the special appointee shall serve the complaint, a summons, and this order to each defendant at the FCCC, complete and sign the return of service forms, and return them (in the preaddressed envelope provided) to the clerk as proof of service. If any defendant is no longer employed at the FCCC or is otherwise unable to be served, the special appointee shall complete and sign the return of service forms unexecuted for that defendant. If service is returned unexecuted, or if a return is not filed within 45 days of this order, the clerk shall so note on the docket immediately.
