Florida Statute 48.091(4), regarding service on a registered agent, provides in part: "A person attempting to serve process pursuant to this section on a natural person, if the natural person is temporarily absent from his or her office, may serve the process during the first attempt at service on any employee of such natural person." The process server's affidavit (Doc. 10-1) does not indicate that the registered agent, Mr. Jackrel, was "temporarily absent" from his office. Therefore, on or before December 18, 2023, Plaintiff shall file an amended affidavit from the process server showing proper service or file a notice that Plaintiff will attempt to re-serve Defendant.
