ENDORSED ORDER: Plaintiff filed a one-page letter to the Clerk #1, titled "Criminal Complaint Due to Retaliatory Act[s] by Staff," complaining that prison officials are interfering with the grievance process. This document is not a proper complaint, does not include all the information required by the court-approved civil rights complaint form, and cannot commence a civil action. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 3 ("A civil action is commenced by filing a complaint with the court."); see also Local Rule 6.04(a) ("A pro se person in custody must use the standard form[.]"). Further, to the extent Plaintiff seeks a criminal investigation and prosecution of prison staff, as a private citizen, Plaintiff "has no judicially cognizable interest in the prosecution or non-prosecution of another." Otero v. U.S. Atty. Gen., 832 F.2d 141, 141 (11th Cir. 1987) (citing Linda R.S. v. Richard D., 410 U.S. 614, 619 (1973)). Accordingly, the Clerk is directed to close this case and send Plaintiff a civil rights complaint form. Plaintiff may commence a new action by using the form.
